Privacy Policy

Effective October 6, 2026

The short version

  • Continuum has no accounts and no servers of its own. We don't collect your name, email or contacts.
  • Free players see ads from Google AdMob. Google collects some device and usage data to show and measure those ads.
  • Ads are only personalised using your device's advertising identifier if you allow tracking, and you can change that any time in Settings.
  • Purchases, Game Center and iCloud are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.

Who we are

Continuum is made by Vantage Digital ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information is handled when you use the Continuum app and this website, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

We designed Continuum to need as little information as possible. There's no sign-up, and the game runs without any servers operated by us. We do not collect, store or sell your personal information.

Some features rely on services from Apple and Google, which receive information to provide them. Each is described below.

This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or third-party trackers. Like any website, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and reliability.

Advertising

Continuum is free to play and shows a full-screen ad between games. These ads are provided by Google AdMob. Continuum Pro removes them.

To show ads, measure how they perform and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK in the app collects:

DataExamples
Device identifiersYour device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking), and identifiers limited to this app or developer
Approximate locationEstimated from your IP address. Never your precise location.
Advertising dataWhich ads were shown and whether they were tapped
Product interactionApp launches, taps and similar interaction information
DiagnosticsCrash logs and performance data

Google uses this information under its own policies. Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services. You can manage your Google ad preferences at My Ad Center.

We receive only aggregated reports from AdMob, such as how many ads were shown. These don't identify you.

Tracking permission

The first time you open Continuum, iOS asks whether you'll allow the app to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. If you choose Allow, Google can use your device's advertising identifier to show ads that are more relevant to you. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, the advertising identifier isn't shared and ads are generally less tailored. The game works exactly the same either way.

You can change your choice at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

In-app purchases

Continuum Pro is purchased through the App Store. Apple processes the payment, and we never see your payment details. The app checks your purchase with Apple so Pro works on all your devices signed in to the same Apple Account. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

Game Center

Online games and leaderboards use Apple's Game Center. When you play online, your Game Center display name is shown to the other players in your game, and game moves and chat messages are relayed between players through Game Center. If you finish a game with a win, your total wins may be posted to the Continuum leaderboard. Game Center is operated by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy, and you can manage it in Settings › Game Center.

Nearby play and chat

Nearby games connect iPhones directly over your local network. iOS asks for Local Network permission so players can find each other. Player names you enter, game moves and chat messages are sent only to the other devices in your game. They are not sent to us and are not stored after the game ends.

On your device and in iCloud

Your settings, player name, table style, saved game and similar preferences are stored on your device. Your game stats are kept in your own iCloud account, so they follow you across your devices. This data stays in your Apple Account and is not accessible to us.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Continuum can remind you when it's your turn in a multiplayer game. These reminders are scheduled on your device. We don't run a notification server, and you can turn them off in Settings › Notifications › Continuum.

Apple Vision Pro

If you play Continuum on Apple Vision Pro, the app may ask to use hand tracking, so your cards appear in your palm, and surface detection, so the board can sit on a real table. This information is processed on your device to run the game. It is not stored, and it is not sent to us or anyone else. SharePlay games connect through FaceTime, which is operated by Apple. The Vision Pro version does not show ads.

Children

Continuum is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we'll help.

Keeping and deleting data

Because we don't store your personal information, there is nothing for us to delete on our side. To remove Continuum data from your device, delete the app. To remove your synced stats, go to Settings › [your name] › iCloud and manage Continuum's stored data. Information collected by Google for advertising is kept under Google's retention policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or to opt out of targeted advertising. Since we don't hold personal information about you, most requests are best handled by:

  • changing your tracking choice in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking;
  • contacting Google about advertising data;
  • contacting Apple about purchases, Game Center or iCloud.

If you have a question or request for us, contact us and we'll respond as quickly as we can.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Continuum handles information, we'll update this page and the effective date above. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
